Strategic Vision: Empowering Nova Scotia's Artists (2024–2026)
The Nova Scotia Talent Trust (NSTT) 2024–2026 Strategic Plan outlines the organization's roadmap to enhance support for emerging artists in Nova Scotia. Building on its legacy since 1944, NSTT has awarded over $2.5 million in scholarships and prizes, aiding artists in various disciplines to pursue professional careers.
Strategic Priorities for 2024–2026:
- Operational Capacity: Focus on fund development, especially leveraging the 80th anniversary in May 2024, to grow the organization's resources.
- Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (EDIA): Implement findings from the EDIA assessment to ensure inclusive support for all artists.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Enhance relationships with donors, recipients, and partners to strengthen the NSTT community.
- Program Development: Expand and adapt scholarship programs to meet the evolving needs of emerging artists.
We are poised to build on past successes, address current challenges and shape an even more inclusive and impactful arts organisation moving forward.
