Have an arts project, event, scholarship, bursary or special award you want to bring to life?
Nova Scotia Talent Trust can act as your fiscal partner, giving your project access to charitable fundraising and funding opportunities that may not otherwise be available.
Open the Door to More Funding Opportunities
A fiscal partnership with NSTT may allow your project to pursue grants, corporate sponsorships and charitable donations that require a registered charity as the applicant or funding recipient.
NSTT can receive and administer funds on behalf of your approved initiative, while you lead the creative work and delivery of your project.
Raise Funds for Your Own Initiative
You can fundraise through NSTT for a scholarship, bursary, special award, project or event that aligns with our mandate of supporting emerging Nova Scotia artists.
As a registered charity, NSTT can issue charitable tax receipts for eligible donations made to your approved initiative. This can make it easier to approach individuals, businesses and other potential supporters.
How It Works
We work with you to determine whether your project fits within NSTT's mandate and establish an agreement outlining the project, responsibilities and use of funds.
NSTT's role is to provide the charitable and administrative structure for your initiative. We do not provide financial sponsorship or funding to fiscally sponsored projects.
